It can take a long time for new graduates to find any opportunities. Often they have to resort to part-time jobs outside of the industry, draining another resource: time.
This low-bono work provides a small stipend, but there’s a huge difference between paid and unpaid work both to the designers and the organisations considering hiring them in the future.
